The Children's Ministry at VFC is all about fun! VFC does its best to to make sure the kids have a great time while being regularly exposed to the truth God's Word. Below are some details about regular children's activities throughout the year.

Sunday Mornings: Children's Church and KinderChurch

At VFC, children have their own service and are dismissed after praise and worship. Children's Church (grades 1-4) and KinderChurch (4K-5K) are times of teaching crafts games and fellowship. The children's facilities are decorated brightly with posters murals and and random objects throughout the classrooms to create a separate atmosphere for the kids. Stong Bible-based curricculum is taught in a fun and engaging manner.

Wednesday Evenings: Ref Night

Ref Night (named after the referee shirts and whistles carried by the facilitators) is a night of fun and recreation for all children, ages 4K to 6th grade. There's something different to do every Wednesday night! Games like soccer, kickball, basketball, and dodgeball are played. Water games are played, such as slipe-n-slide, water guns, and water balloon wars. Scooters and remote controlled cars are always popular, and kids love the Playstation and Xbox tournaments! Occasionally, the referees will throw a movie in the DVD player. Ref Night is always fun!
